The Best Independent UK Schools League Table for Year 11 entry 2024
The purpose of this table is to show which of the highest-achieving schools offer students entry into Year 11 (age 15+) for a 1 Year GCSE programme, or an equivalent programme (sometimes called a pre-A-level or Pre-IB.)
These programmes prepare students for progression onto A-levels or the IB Diploma, and are usually taken by overseas students who are coming to the UK to study for the first time. Many of these students receive additional English language support alongside their 1 year preparation programme.
The ranking is determined by each school’s 2024 A-level results, and you can also sort the table by each school’s IB Diploma average points score (from a maximum of 45 points.)
